LST vs topping β which gives better yields in a 60x60 tent?
Been growing in a 60x60 tent for about two years now and I've experimented a lot with training methods. Thought I'd share what I've found. Topping works great but you need enough veg time to recover β I'd say minimum 2 weeks after the cut before flipping. It creates a very even canopy and I've had good results, but it does add time. LST (low stress training) is my preferred method for autos or when I'm tight on veg time. Gently bending the main stem and tying it down from week 2 onwards. No recovery time needed, keeps the plant in a horizontal shape, and really opens up the canopy to light. For my 60x60 I typically run 2 plants with LST and get around 150-180g total per run. Anyone else had good results with different methods in a small tent?
