Know your local law
Premier Cannabis Genetics sells cannabis seeds strictly as collector's items and novelties — not for germination or cultivation. The law on seeds and cultivation is different in every country and it changes. This page points you to official sources. It is general information, not legal advice, and you are responsible for knowing and following the law where you live.
Your country
You haven't chosen your country yet. Use the age check on any page of the site to choose it, and this box will show the notice for your country.
United Kingdom
In the UK, under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971:
- Cannabis seed is not itself a controlled drug: the Act's definition of "cannabis" in section 37(1) excludes seed once it has been separated from the plant.
- Cultivating any cannabis plant is an offence unless it is licensed (section 6). Germinating a seed produces a plant, which is why we sell seeds as collector's items only.
Summary last checked October 2026. Laws can change; please check the Act itself.
Elsewhere in the EU
Rules on cannabis seeds, home growing and importing seeds vary widely between EU countries, and several have changed their laws recently. We can't give legal advice about your country — please check the official information before you order:
- EUDA — Cannabis policy (European Union Drugs Agency)
- EUDA — Drug law penalties at a glance
- Your own government's health or justice ministry website, which has the current national law.
Europe at a glance
A quick comparison of how cannabis itself is treated in the countries we ship to — recreational use, personal possession, home growing, and medical cannabis. It does not cover cannabis seeds, which are often treated differently from the plant. Where medical cannabis is available it is through a prescription or an official programme; that doesn't make any other use legal.
