We've always been passionate about seeds and the cannabis scene, a passion that goes back to our early years and eventually grew into something we wanted to build a business around.

That passion led us to lease our first physical store in the Ely area of Cardiff - Mary Jane Essentials. It wasn't long before we branched out further, running two stores at once - one in Ely and one in Cardiff - as demand for what we offered continued to grow.

Eventually, we made the decision to consolidate and focus our energy on a single location: our store on Woodville Road, Cathays. Before opening, we completely renovated the space, transforming it into somewhere people genuinely wanted to spend time - not just a shop, but a hub for like-minded people. We created a relaxed chill-out area, brought in music to set the tone, and built an atmosphere that reflected the culture we loved. It quickly became a gathering place for a fantastic community of regulars, and we found success across many different areas of the business, from the products we stocked to the relationships we built with our customers.

In time, however, changing UK CBD regulations made it increasingly difficult to keep trading through a physical storefront. The rules around how CBD could be sold and displayed became far more demanding, and the pressures of COVID-19 only compounded these challenges, making it harder still to sustain a physical presence. Rather than compromise on what we could offer, we made the decision to close our physical stores and move our focus online - where we could continue doing what we love without those restrictions holding us back.

Today, that same passion drives everything we do. We've brought the same care, knowledge, and community spirit that made our Cathays store special into our online presence - and we're just as committed to serving our customers, wherever they're based.
